We have not appointed a data protection officer, as the legal thresholds for doing so are not met.

2 · What this website does not do

  • No cookies are set that require consent. No consent banner is therefore displayed.
  • No tracking, no analytics, no advertising networks, no social media plugins.
  • All fonts are delivered from our own server. No connection is made to Google Fonts or any other external font service.
  • No content is loaded from external content delivery networks.

3 · Server log files

When you visit this website, our hosting provider automatically records data that your browser transmits: IP address, date and time of the request, the page requested, referrer URL, browser type and version, and operating system. This data is required to deliver the website and to ensure operational security. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR; our legitimate interest lies in the secure and stable operation of the website. Log data is deleted after seven days at the latest, unless it is required as evidence of an attack.

4 · Hosting

This website is hosted by IONOS SE, Elgendorfer Straße 57, 56410 Montabaur, Germany. The servers are located within the European Union. We have concluded a data processing agreement with IONOS in accordance with Art. 28 GDPR.

5 · Document request form

If you use the form to request product documents, we process the data you enter: company, contact person, email address, country, the product selected, the documents requested and your message. We use this data solely to process your enquiry and to send you the documents.

The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR where the enquiry relates to the initiation of a contract, and otherwise Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR based on our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries. We delete the data as soon as your enquiry has been dealt with and no statutory retention obligations apply. Commercial and tax retention periods of six or ten years remain unaffected.

Providing the data is not required by law or contract. Without the mandatory fields, however, we cannot process your enquiry.

6 · Contact by email

If you contact us by email, we process the data you provide in order to answer your message. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) or (f) GDPR, as set out above. Please note that unencrypted email cannot be guaranteed to be secure in transit.

7 · Recipients

Personal data is passed on to our hosting provider and to our email provider, Microsoft Ireland Operations Ltd., as processors, each on the basis of a data processing agreement. Data is not transferred to third countries without a suitable legal basis.

8 · Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to:

  • access to the personal data we hold about you (Art. 15)
  • rectification of inaccurate data (Art. 16)
  • erasure (Art. 17) and restriction of processing (Art. 18)
  • data portability (Art. 20)
  • object to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21)

To exercise these rights, write to info@nuvealife.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, for example the Landesbeauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit Nordrhein-Westfalen.

9 · SSL/TLS encryption

This site uses TLS encryption for security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content. You can recognise an encrypted connection by the address bar of your browser changing from http:// to https://.

10 · Changes

We adapt this privacy policy when changes to our processing operations make it necessary. The current version always applies as published on this page.
